  1. RSPS Fine Arts Fridays classes recently gathered for a presentation to harmoniously learn about the ancient Tibetan and Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls played by Biltmore resident, Kenton Knepper. Kenton Knepper is known famously around the world as a mentalist, a magician, a psychic, entertainer, and a suggestionist. However, when he recently came to Rancho Solano Private Schools, Greenway Campus he was introduced as a Tibetan Bowl Player. Mr. Knepper, Mystic of Sound, came to teach curious students about the ancient Tibetan and Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, their origin, and why they are so mystical.
“The Bowls bypass the conscious mind, and harmoniously attune people from the inside out,” Kenton Knepper said.
Bowl Sounds are deeply massaging vibrations masterfully created by Kenton Knepper through the use of ancient Tibetan and Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls. The sounds vibrate the mind and body, that create a deeply calming effect.
When Mr. Knepper plays the Bowls, he uses a beater and strokes them around the outside of the Bowls. The Bowls then make a high-pitched humming sound that vibrates the inside of our bodies, causing us to relax. He then proceeded to show us the many Bowls he had collected, and the different sizes of the Bowls. Some of the Bowls were so big, that in order for them to make any noise, he would have to rub the beater on the outside of the Bowl for a couple of minutes.
"When Mr. Knepper played the Bowls for us, everybody in the room fell silent as we discovered the Bowls had an unspoken power over our minds. Some stated that their body became numb or that they began to travel the world as he was playing. Some people also got goose bumps," reporter and seventh-grader Chantal Navratil noted.
“In my experience, the Bowls play differently each time depending who is listening. It is less likely that I am playing the Bowls and more as if the Bowls are tuning the audience,” Kenton Knepper remarked. The Bowl Sounds method causes fast relief, and opens the mind so the body can heal itself physically and mentally.
"When he first gave us the presentation, I didn't know what to expect. I closed my eyes and before I knew it, he started playing the mystical Bowls and my entire body went numb, the second time he played my feet got cold," Chantal Navratil shared.
"When the Bowl Sounds were playing, it felt like a floating sensation," Art History teacher, Gail Gustins added peacefully. To learn more visit www.bowlsounds.com
